Bonhams close thisbe (brindle), was a winner of 14 cc's in the UK. She had a son to a pied austrian import called Bonham's close Aventurier, this dog became a most important stud dog and his name was CH Bonham's Close Toby, born october 1927. Toby himself won 12 cc's, gaining his title at Crufts in 1930. Toby and Thisbe were a uniquely successful brace.
